Highland Basketball Co-Ed Ages 5-6

The earliest age group in the Highland Sports Association Youth Basketball. We focus on the league’s mission of introducing players to the fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, passing, shooting, defense. We promote good sportsmanship, team play and fun which are the most important aspects of the game, while learning.

We will actively assist in helping our players understand the basic game, stress learning basketball fundamentals and development of core skills for each and every participating child. All players develop at different times as they grow, so it is important, as a league that we work with all players to help them develop a lifelong love of the game.

This age group is about learning basketball and having fun. We ensure that all players participate in all games at various positions.
